CT/Xray Tech (Full Time) 3 pm- 11 pm (Mon- Fri)
CT/Xray- Tech- 3 pm- 11 pm- Monday- Friday (FT)

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Technologist will perform a variety of radiologic and CT procedures.

Technologist will transport and assist patients to and from procedures.

Technologist will also do order entry and PAC's duties.

Technologist may be required to work alone on occasion.

Complete mandatory continuing education to enhance growth.

Meet standards of care for all patients from infancy through geriatric plus.

Identify and plan for appropriate safety precautions to be taken to prevent injury when dealing with all age groups.

Perform assessments on patients of various ages ranging from infancy through geriatric taking into consideration the physiological and anatomical needs of each patient.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

High degree of professional ethics and conduct.

Perform CT procedures with skill and without supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.

Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Have a Radiation Operator's license in the state of KY

Current CPR certificate

CT experience preferred but not required
