CT Tech - Diagnostic Imaging- 6pm-6 am- Wednesday- Friday
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Keep assigned room clean and well stocked with supplies.
Rotate on-call basis as necessary for complete coverage of the department.
Chart all exams on patients’ permanent medical record.
Complete mandatory continuing education to enhance growth.
Meet standards of care for all patients from infancy through geriatric plus.
Identify and plan for appropriate safety precautions to be taken to prevent injury when dealing with all age groups.
Perform assessments on patients of various ages ranging from infancy through geriatric taking into consideration the physiological and anatomical needs of each patient.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High degree of professional ethics and conduct.
Perform CT procedures with skill and without supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science degree, Bachelor of Science preferred.
Certification by the State Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R), (CT); current CPR certificate.
At least one (1) year of experience in CT procedures advanced Registry in Computerized Tomography (CT).
